Keep Field Day Safe and Healthy!
- Stay Safe in the Sun
If your Field Day is outdoors, make you sure to provide plenty of sunscreen, sunglasses, and water to prevent dehydration. - Rest Up
Create a rest area. Another way to escape sun damage, this will give kids and adults a chance to relax before their next event. Gather up a tent, chairs, pillows, and water bottles to make it
more comfortable. - Get Off on the Right Foot
Remind students to wear socks and a comfortable pair of tennis shoes. It’s no fun participating in games with sore feet. Save the flip flops for a wacky Field Day game. - Good Old H20
Set up water stations and make sure kids know where they can find them. It’s important to stay hydrated throughout the event. - Food, Glorious Food
No matter how long your Field Day is, set up picnic tables or a snack area with food (or lunch) to energize kids. Provide lots of fruits and veggies!
